The Captain of Oak Forest FC, Terry was the first signing by the Oak Forest FC team and remains one of their best. A precocious talent at the age of seven, Terry was signed to the Liverpool FC Academy where he continued to hone his craft. His teenage years were marred by a terrible knee and an ACL tear, there was general concern among the LFC leadership and coaching staff that he would never find the consistent fitness to meet his early age potential, and was released early in his twenties.
He spent a few years with different Premier League relegation contenders until a chance run-in with Aidan Connors, his now teammate. Connors, who was well acquainted with Terry’s young career, worked with the young midfielder with respect to his passing ability and more importantly, his confidence: “I owe a lot to Aidan. He believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. He showed me how to better follow the movement of the game and pushed me to not be afraid of a hard hit.”
With a thunderous right foot, Terry remains one of the most devastating attacking presences on the outside of the box. Having conjured more than one miracle strike from distance, his goals are often a spectacle to behold and can snatch victory from the dying embers of hope.
