With one of the finest left boots in all of football, Robbie has developed a reputation as one of the foremost young talents in the game. Having captained Scotland’s U21 squad to last year’s Euro Under-21 Finals, he continues to excel on every stage of the international game. The youngest squad member of Oak Forest FC, he and James Brambleton make up one of the fastest counter-attacking forces in all of football.
Having started in the lower leagues of the Scottish Premier League, Robbie has continuously climbed through the ranks with each passing season. Part of 2023’s relegation battle, he was signed from Dundee United for the sum of £750,000 which has put him in line as one of the most successful signings for this year’s squad.
With a blistering pace on the ball and an even faster one off of it, Robbie plays the game much like a child with little to no regard for the preservation of self. Indeed, the great Sir Alex Ferguson once complimented the young lad on his pace but warned that such a propensity to drive forward could lead to misplacement at the time of a counterattack. Still, Robbie remains one of the standout talents in Scottish football and promises to be a pressing force for many, many more years at Oak Forest FC.
