A diminutive attacking talent, Matías is one of the finest strikers in all of Europe. Originally from Greece, he emigrated with his parents to Uruguay as an infant and fashioned his unique flair with the ball while playing on the streets of Montevideo. His talent saw a prompt signing to Boca Juniors in Brazil before a surprise to Atletico Madrid during the COVID pandemic. While he showed signs of that same flair, it was not until a move to Oak Forest FC that he cemented his status as one of the world’s most devastating finishers.
Despite a 5’7 frame, he has become one of the most fearsome presences with the ball at his feet. What he may lack in size, he more than makes up with finesse. While some have called him the next Messi, he is more than happy to follow in the footsteps of his childhood idol and fellow Uruguayan, Diego Forlán.
A fan favorite, Matías has become a standout for the club and country. Leading the line for OFFC, the Baby-faced Assassin is as deadly as he is handsome though any passing remark about the latter could very well leave an opposing defender staring at the number 9 on the back of his jersey as he wheels away after scoring yet another goal!
