Dr. Johan Wegeler, COO
Recruited by Oak Forest FC CEO, Georgie Rydell, Dr. Johan Wegeler has long been a prominent voice in the development and expansion of "heavy metal" football. As a key member of Jurgen Klopp's backroom in both Germany and England, Dr. Wegeler has long been committed to sustainable sport practices within the Beautiful Game. While his career in professional football was short-lived, his keen insight in tactical planning and experience with talent development made him an indispensable asset for the German national team. After a brief stint in the United States when he worked and studied the cost-effective “Moneyball” strategy and its implementation within Major League Baseball, Dr. Wegeler returned to his hometown of Bonn, Germany, and founded the world renowned Akademie des Kompletten Fupball.
A devoted constituent to gegenpressing fuβball, Dr. Wegeler remains dedicated to identifying and cultivating promising young talent. The successes of his academy are well known.
